        Europameisterin: 1989, 1991, 1995

Her importance for the women's game, both domestically and internationally, is illustrated by her being voted European Female Footballer of the Century in 1999.

In February 2019, Heidi Mohr died of cancer aged 51. The German football HALL OF FAME will honour her memory in perpetuity.
The full-blooded striker from Weinheim rose to fame with some crucial goals as the women's national team began its march to success. She was on target in the final as Germany won their first European Championship in 1989 and followed that up with a brace in the final two years later. The same year, she scored in every game at the World Cup.
At that time, she also topped the scoring charts at club level. Deeply attached to her home region, Mohr withstood the lure of the big clubs, opting instead to make things difficult for the seemingly invincible competition at minnows TuS Niederkirchen. Their victory over TSV Siegen in the 1993 German championship final thanks to two Mohr goals was an absolute sensation. Her killer instinct in front of goal was complemented by her pace and dribbling ability and, for all her individual quality, her fabulous team spirit.
