Guided tours at the German Football Museum

Over 140 years of German football history is a vast subject. Let our tour guides literally take you by the hand! In 120 minutes, you’ll discover why the “Miracle of Bern” in 1954, why the DFB Cup used to be called the Tschammer Cup, or how the system of playing with nine strikers evolved into the ‘false nine’ tactic. After the tour, you’re welcome to explore the exhibition again on your own if you’d like. The best way to book your museum visit, including the guided tour, is via our ticket shop!

Guided tours in foreign languages: English, French or Spanish

[Translate to Englisch:] Internationale Gäste fahren mit der Rolltreppe ins 2. Obergeschoss des Deutschen Fußballmuseums, wo die Ausstellung beginnt

Many of our more than 200,000 visitors a year come from abroad – or do not speak German very well. That is why, ever since the German Football Museum opened in 2015, we have been happy to offer guided tours in foreign languages on request. The exhibition itself is bilingual: our exhibition texts are available in both German and English. However, many of the multimedia stations are only available in German. That’s why it’s worth having a museum guide who speaks the guests’ language.

We’d be happy to arrange a guide who can lead tours of the German Football Museum in English, French or Spanish. The prices are based on those for an exclusive tour, as we incur corresponding costs for these specially trained guides.

To book a guided tour in a foreign language, please send an email to gruppen@fussballmuseum.de or use the contact form.
