People with a degree of disability of 50 per cent or more can gain entry to the German Football Museum for 12 euros upon presentation of their disability card. If there is a special exhibition, the price is 15 euros. A ‘B’ on the disability card entitles one accompanying person to free entry.
The ticket counter has a lowered section specifically for wheelchair users – with priority entry. An induction loop is available for visitors with hearing impairments.
The German Football Museum has two wheelchairs and one walking frame available for loan. A form of identification must be left as a deposit at the ticket office whilst you are visiting the museum.

The exhibition area of the German Football Museum is designed to be accessible. This means that wheelchair users and those using walking frames can generally take part in public guided tours. For this group, we also offer guided tours on request that are individually tailored to their needs. Accessible routes and exhibits at eye level form the basis of these tours.
Special guided tours for people with hearing impairments and deaf people can also be booked. Portable induction loop systems are available for these tours. The group is, of course, welcome to be accompanied by their own sign language interpreter. The interpreter is granted free admission to the exhibition.
For people with visual impairments and blind visitors, the exhibition at the German Football Museum comes to life through a guided tour featuring tactile models. The tour includes special exhibits that visitors can touch. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are also very welcome.
Simple language and content tailored to the needs of the participants characterise the German Football Museum’s inclusive guided tour. This tour is specifically aimed at participants with cognitive impairments.
Prices
: The special guided tours we offer for people with mobility, hearing or visual impairments, or cognitive disabilities, fall under the ‘Exclusive Tour’ category. The flat rate for up to 20 people is 110 euros; for groups of 16 or more, the cost is 5.50 euros per additional participant. Getting
there The German Football Museum has four disabled parking spaces – two next to and two behind the building – and barrier-free access to the exhibition is guaranteed. By prior arrangement, it is also possible in individual cases to drive right up to the main entrance.
Dortmund Central Station is located opposite the German Football Museum. Dortmund Central Station is not yet accessible. Deutsche Bahn’s mobility service can assist to ensure a smooth journey.
